Speaker Bio

Paul Tjoumakaris is senior vice president of gaming for the Seminole Tribe of Florida. In this role, he oversees gaming activities at five Seminole Casinos in Hollywood, Coconut Creek, Immokalee, on the Big Cypress Reservation and on the Brighton Reservation. Prior to his work with the Seminole Tribe, Tjoumakaris served five years as the vice president of slot operations at the Borgata Hotel and Spa in Atlantic City. During his 29-year gaming industry career, Tjoumakaris has been responsible for several industry innovations, including the development and implementation of currency changers, the bar-coded coupon validation process, the one-sided coin drop and auxiliary hopper storage compartments. Before entering the gaming industry, Tjoumakaris owned and operated a hotel and restaurant in Atlantic City and also worked as a broadcast engineer for KYW TV, an NBC affiliate in Philadelphia.
