Richard Williamson, Senior Vice President, Regulatory - Americas for BMM Compliance is a thirty-year veteran of the gaming industry. Mr. Williamson has extensive experience in developing and implementing technical standards, internal controls, regulations and rulemaking as well as writing and interpreting gaming product testing standards. Previously, Williamson was appointed in 2005 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board as the first Director of its Gaming Laboratory Operations where he created technical standards, lab procedures and was instrumental in opening the first three slots-only PA casinos. Before joining the PGCB, Williamson was the director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcements slot testing laboratory for more than twenty years. During this period, the DGE lab routinely received submissions of technologically advanced products and concepts that challenged the language of existing regulations and necessitated many rule changes. Under his leadership the New Jersey lab was routinely consulted as a preeminent government operated testing laboratory.
