Speaker Bio
Dan Marcus is the senior director of business initiatives for Bally Technologies, where he works to improve the financial performance of client casinos through operational enhancements and efficiencies. He leverages data generated by a casino's systems and business intelligence tools to customize analytical capabilities for each business. Prior to joining Bally Technologies in May 2008, Marcus served as an independent consultant for a number of gaming and banking clients. He was vice president of gaming operations for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and has held a variety of financial and operational roles for Harrah's Entertainment, including special assistant to the CEO, director of player services and advisor to Tabcorp in Australia. Marcus earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Hawaii and MBA at the University of Indiana.
