Knute Knudson is VicePresident of Native American Development and Global Business Development at Internatinal Game Technology (IGT). At Sodak Gaming, Mr. Knudson was Vice President of Strategic Planning and Vice President of Government Affairs and Marketing. Mr. Knudson also served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Department of the Interior. He served 3 terms in the South Dakota Legislature. He has college degrees from Harvard University, the University of Oklahoma and Black Hills State University. He and his wife reside in Reno.

Although the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) has backed off onerous standards for Class II gaming machines, the issue is far from resolved. At this session, hear from experts, operators and attorneys who have first-hand experience in this field. Understand why the NIGC regulations would have spelled disaster for Indian Country and if the new regulations will really work.
